Each ePMP Radio requires a power supply to generate the supply voltage from the external DC source and inject the voltage into the radio. The power supply connects to the radio and network equipment via Cat 5e cable with RJ45 connectors.

The radio comes with a 30V Power supply which supports Gigabit Ethernet operation on the Cat 5e cable. The radio supports an input voltage range of 23 – 56 V and the PoE interface is 802.3af compliant. There is a variety of alternative powering methods that can be used. The Connectorized, Synchronized radio can be powered from either the Cambium CMM3 or CMM4 devices. Alternatively, the radio can be powered by 802.3af PoE compliant switches.
